- Offline by design. A subscription keeps working for 14 days with no connection at all; a lifetime license works offline indefinitely.
- Cancelling is not a cliff. Pro stays active to the end of the period you paid for, then the app carries on as the free version. Settings, presets and curves stay on your Mac.

Is EQBase free?
Yes. Is there a free trial of Pro?
There is no timed trial, because the free tier already is one: it never expires, so you can use EQBase for as long as you like before deciding. If you do upgrade and change your mind, the 14-day refund covers you, no questions asked.
How many Macs does one Pro license cover?
A monthly or annual subscription covers 3 Macs. A lifetime license covers 1 Mac. You can move an activation between Macs from the app's License window, so replacing a machine does not cost you a seat.
Does EQBase Pro work offline?
Yes. The app revalidates a license in the background now and then, and a subscription keeps working for 14 days with no connection at all. A lifetime license works offline indefinitely. A flaky network never turns your sound off.
What happens if I cancel or my license lapses?
Cancelling stops future charges and Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. When a license ends, the Pro features switch off and the app carries on as the free version. Your settings, presets and EQ curves stay on your Mac, so everything lights back up if you return.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: 14 days, no questions asked, refunded to your original payment method. The same window applies to a renewal charge you meant to cancel. Details on the refund policy page.
What does the lifetime license actually include?
One payment, never billed again: every Pro feature that exists at the time of purchase, plus the updates we release to EQBase while it stays in active development. It is a perpetual license to this app, not a subscription to everything we may ever make; a future major version or successor product may be a separate purchase. The terms spell this out in full.
